I've already been critical of the timeout allocation. But that isn't the only reason we didn't win the game. I have noticed that Russ seems to have difficulty looking for all his options and locks into the hot read. Often there are other receivers open that he just isn't seeing. Do you find this to be a fair criticism? I think that's nearly impossible to evaluate with the information I have. If I had access to the All22 and knew what the play call was, I could maybe tell. I will say this about #7, he doesn't throw picks and if things get dicey he makes things happen with his feet. And, again, I don't know this, but I would imagine a fair amount of plays we have are RPO (Run/Pass Option) and there are limited progressions there, because of time. But even if that's the case, there are NFL QB's that don't make it through full progressions, so it's not something I'm the least bit worried about when it comes to our QB. |
