I vaguely remember the game last year. I think Stetson got rolled up by Florida Tech last week.
Anyone had a chance to do any scouting yet?

If you remember, this is the game good ole' John Russ hit for the Football Cycle. TD's Rushing, Passing & Receiving.

It was a close game at half (17-14) and Mercer was not playing with their normal intensity. Bobby Lamb rip the players a new one at half time and they responded with a 24-0 second half performance. I think the analogy was something like "paint peeling"…..

Stetson's best player is probably Donald Payne DB/LB who made All Conference last year. He is all over the field and led the PFL with 113 tackles as a Freshman in 2013. Of course he is from GA.

Hate it when we loose good talent to out of state schools. I think we rebound to the wn column this week.

We won't lose that talent going forward ; we're in a position to dominate recruiting for years to come... Also, I think we come into Stetson with a vengeance rather than a hangover. Our players are frustrated they didn't pull out a w in the fu game and they are going to unleash that frustration in Stetson. Our boys don't like to lose and I love that about them.

Hate it when we loose good talent to out of state schools. I think we rebound to the wn column this week. I seem to remember that Payne wanted a very specific major they have at Stetson...something like Computer Graphical Arts / Animation-like stuff - I guess their proximity to Disney has something to do with it.....I know Mercer wanted him and he's a good player...not quite as good as his press clippings IMHO...but he definitely has an affinity for making big plays and making those big plays count. How many more good players we will we have to lose before President Underwood starts a Cartooning Major at Mercer. This is an OUTRAGE!!! EDIT: Just checked his bio - sez he is a Finance Major....must have changed it or I was dreaming (that happens)....he shoulda Xferred to MU...we got Finance, right? Still looking for that Cartooning Major to be in place next year anyway!!!
