The only other official offer I saw was App State. He asked about FBS. App State is in the Sun Belt. Sun Belt is a D2 Conference, I believe. Certainly something lower than FCS level, right? The Sun Belt's average margin of loss to Power 6 teams this past weekend was 36 points if my math is correct. Wofford played Clemson closer than GasU played WVa. I'd give the Sun Belt better than D2, but they are to me a glorified I-AA. But don't tell that to the GasU fans! They are "Big Time" now!

There is a reason JMU chose to stay FSC and turned down an invite to the Slum Belt. FSC > Slum Belt

In 2013 Georgia Southern and App State finished middle of the pack in the SoCon. Neither was in the post season conversation (if they were even eligible). App State, in particular, got run out of the stadium a couple of times. Those two teams finished first and third in the SunBelt the very next season. I think Georgia Southern went undefeated, or close to it, in the conference.

Sad to see for the once dominant conference.

Sad to see for the once dominant conference. Dominant in what over whom? Seriously, I don't know anything about the history of this conference. Only know them as a conglomeration of rag-tag wannabe football programs.

I was being sarcastic. I'm sorry. Please continue with the sarcasm. I like it. Because I am clueless about the Scum Belt's history, I wasn't sure. My bust, not yours.
