While we are at it. What ever happened to Palmetto and Pine Sports?  Oh wow. Hadn't thought about them. Just looked and they haven't posted anything since early in the year. I know it was just some guys doing it. I guess it was to labor intensive to keep up? Must have been my awesome 2014 Mercer preview that did them in. |

I actually thought it was automatically published to Tapatalk because I upgraded this forum from one of the free boards to a subscription level. However, after some investigation, we have Tapatalk available but I have to go through an approval process that I wasn't aware of. I've submitted the necessary documentation and I'm supposed to know if they've approved my Tapatalk access request in the next 2-5 business days. I will keep you posted on the approval decision and if all goes well, you can start accessing the site via the Tapatalk app on your mobile device soon. Thanks for the heads up. Hey BearDownMU. A college fan message board cuts both ways. Recruits and players like to see that the fans care enough to have an active message board, especially when they are being recruited. But when things turn ugly and some faceless 55 year old calls them out for not having a good game or tells the world that a player has been suspended for a failed drug test or a fan base turns on a coach then it can turnoff recruits and players.
To an outsider, this message board sends the message that Mercer doesn't have that many fans that care. To change that we need only 35 or so fans to regularly post.
And a suggestion, every game should have a thread so the fans of other schools can join in on the discussion.

good insight to these boards etc. Thanks I have another daughter that goes to UCF and being a FBS program shows the diffence.

Need to promote this board on social media..... Who's social media? Once the season starts I push everything through the independent alumni boards on Facebook. That's where most of the action is and it will increase the traffic. None of the official school Twitter or Facebook accounts is allowed to promote this site because it's not an official Mercer source and isn't controlled by the school. Already tried to get football and Athletics twitter to send some stuff out, but they aren't allowed. |
