Game is actually in Little Rock at the Verizon Arena.
The Razorbacks are 5-4 and ranked at #78 by Sagarin with no Top 50 wins.

What was Auburn's Sagarin going into our game? At the time I wrote, "Sagarin has AU rated #139. Mercer is #196." But I may not have had that right since MU is now #138 and AU is now #93. |

I like this game for the Bears. It's really too bad it's not televised or streamed though! It's on a "neutral" floor in Little Rock. I hear they pack that place every time there's a game there. The Bears can hang with anyone, and this is another opportunity to show everyone. The fact that there isn't any TV might actually have a calming effect.

This massive sounding crowd finally woke up. Mercer having trouble with the press. A blocked shot lead to an Arkansas transition 3 pointer. Mercer still leads though, 8-7 with 11:41 remaining in the 1st. Gotta regroup!! Keep getting ARK to foul us!

Mercer leading 17-13 with 3:36 in the 1st. Tough overturned call just now. Would have been Mercer's ball, but another official changed the call! Go Bears!!

Halftime score: Mercer up 19-17
Both teams shooting in the mid 20% range. Great defense on each side. Mercer winning the rebounding battle, while ARK is getting to the FT line more often. That's the only noticeable differences.

Mercer did not match ARK's intensity to start the 2nd half... trailing 28-23 15:29 2nd.
