As anticipated, Kyle Lewis is having a monster year so far. His is currently 1st or 2nd in the SoCon in 9 offensive categories.
Batting Average - .455 - 1st Slugging Percentage - .896 - 1st On Base Percentage - .567 - 1st Runs Scored - 27 - 2nd Hits - 35 - 1st RBIs - 29 - 2nd Home Runs - 9 - 2nd Total Bases - 69 - 1st Walks - 19 - 2nd

I've been tracking the games closely as always, and he's performing at such a high level. I thought there might be nerves with the bright spotlight to start the year, but he's proved that nerves are not a factor.

Mlb Network just said Lewis will be top 3 or 4 pick and could be first pick.

I'm saying many prayers for the Braves to get him at #3. Would be fun to see. Not sure anyone can really gauge what the Braves will do. They have a tendency for drafting local talent. They also bigger tendency to go after high school pitchers in the early rounds. My guess goes along with Baseball America and think the Braves will pick Riley Pint, a high school pitcher out of Kansas City. Most of what I see, though, has AJ Puk, Lewis, and Pint going high. Not sure Lewis will get past Atlanta if Puk and Pint are off the board.

There are some other good players as well. Jason Groome, Cory Ray, Mickey Moniak. We shall see.
