I made a post earlier in the year about pitching, and now the latest weekend performance deserves a post. The Mercer pitching staff held UNC-G (the top hitting team by batting average in the country) to only 4 runs over 3 games! 1.33 runs per game to the best hitting team in the nation? The Mercer staff needs to take a bow for that amazing job! Go get em in the tourney!

And we really struggled with the staff early in the season. Knock on wood, it appears they are coming on strong at just the right time. They were amazing against UNCG, for sure.
