This is true. I have heard that he will be moving to Presbyterian College as their DC. If true, congratulations to Coach Doolittle!! PC is his alma mater and stepping up to a Coordinator spot from a Position Coach is a nice promotion. He better be ready to Coach A LOT of shutout Defense though...PC averaged less than 1 Offensive TD/Game in 2016! And, though they promoted their Defensive Coordinator to Head Coach, their Offensive Staff remains 100% intact, I understand. I also understand their best (by far!) Offensive Player, RB Darrell Bridges, is transferring to Chattanooga (his home town) to play his 5th year. Not exactly 'official,' but Football Scoop is usually fairly accurate... The Scoop – Wednesday January 4, 2017Presbyterian (FCS – SC): Per source, Mercer safeties coach / co-special teams coordinator Mitch Doolittle is joining the staff as defensive coordinator.

For the PC Fan who stopped by and then posted about the 'intrepid reporting' you found here on MUBearDown, here is the original source for this info if you would like to add to your post on BlueHoseSports... Chattanooga Times Free Press 12/20/16 - Bridges to UTC?Bridges to UTC?
Former Ridgeland High School running back Darrell Bridges told the Times Free Press on Monday that he is seeking a transfer to UTC. Bridges has spent the past three seasons at Presbyterian College, where the 6-foot-1, 200-pound running back has rushed for 2,182 yards in his career, which ranks second in the school's Division I era. He had 721 yards and two touchdowns in 2016 for the 2-9 Blue Hose. Bridges will graduate in May and is seeking an opportunity to play his final season for the Mocs and new head coach Tom Arth. He said he would be willing to play "whatever the new coach" needed, including possibly flipping sides of the football. "I wouldn't mind hitting people for once," he said. "I've been getting hit my whole career."

For me this would seem... superfluous. Coach Lamb is calling the plays anyway. I think the big struggle this last year was not having a run game. With who we have coming in and coming back the O should be solid. Only question is can Kaelan keep it running. I think he'll be ready.
