Here comes the favorable part of the schedule. Road game at WCU, and then a 4-game home stand, followed by a road game at VMI.

Good point, orange and black. The bears can turn the season around by winning the next six. And then let that momentum carry them the rest of the way.

For the rematch on January 30, the Bears are favored by 16. Didn't Western Carolina win back in early January?

Interesting that MU was favored by 16 in the rematch last season and in the rematch this season.

Very strong performance. Rivers, Cummings, and Ringer played especially well. But everyone knows their role by now. Too many weapons on this team to not make a run in Asheville.

Give the Bears six. Western Carolina failed to do what any other team has done in recent games against Mercer — cool the Bears off. Hot-shooting Mercer sent its seniors out with a bang on Tuesday night in their home finale at Hawkins Arena, handling Western Carolina 81-64 for the Bears sixth win in a row. Mercer’s shooting was fiery from the start. The Bears kept it that way for the most part, shooting 56 percent from the field. Mercer was pretty stout from long range as well, making 11 out of 20 3-pointers, good for 55 percent. www.macon.com/sports/college/mercer-university/article201231719.html
