Bear fans u got a very good transfer in Alvarez. A major loss for Fairfield fans. Álvarez is extremely quick and fearless going to the rim. A very good on-ball defensive player who can steal the ball from the opposing guard. His outside shooting is suspect and needs additional improvement in his foul shooting. However, he is a fiery leader and I understand very coachable. I think Bear fans will be very happy with him once eligible.
