Down 10 in Lexington. 2 turnovers so far puts us -9 on the season. It’s hard to win games this way.

27-Zip late in the 3rd. Mercer has 75 whole yards of offense. Do we only have 1 QB on the roster? I know, I know, let the kid grow. Looks like they have given up on this game. And looks like I’m the only person watching.

And looks like I’m the only person watching. I was witchu MD. I was watching all 4 SoCon games. With 2 losses, Mercer is not going to win the SoCon nor make the Playoffs this Spring. The Team now needs to focus on getting better for the Fall....while going all out to win more games this Spring. And, Mercer Fans need to focus on having fun & basking in the #NowNormal environment that Mercer U is creating for Athletics while most other schools (or states) continue sending up their silly ‘virtue flares.’ Despite the point total, Mercer’s D is solid. They are right there with the best in the SoCon. The O has a lot of work to do...and they have 5 more games this Spring & Fall practice to get that work in. Mercer’s D was highly competitive today. VMI’s D is very good, but Mercer’s O never really challenged them...until they started rolling some backups in. Gonna be a process on O. |
