Here is a good site to follow Mercer's 2015 commitments. I think that there may be a couple more that are not yet on this site but they do the best job following the SoCon. soconrecruiting.com/2015-football-commitments/I see two 4.4s and one 4.3 40 yard speed on this Mercer list.

Yes looking good if we get them NSD, we are closer to the top of the SOCON than it appears.

Yes looking good if we get them NSD, we are closer to the top of the SOCON than it appears. It is all relative. Recruiting is interesting to follow, but one never knows how good or bad a class is until perhaps years down the road. I've seen highly touted recruits disappear into obscurity and walk-ons become all americans.

True, so,lets hope Coach Lamb has another C.Curtis coming in next year( who was not highly recruited )next year, so we can compete and win now in the SOCON based on our first year of competition.Message boards this season from other SOCON schools indicate we are feared.

Lamb is a good recruiter. Furman had 9 (I think) players in NFL training camps two years ago, all were Lamb recruits. He can find some good players. Not sure "feared" is the right word. "Respected" is probably closer. That respect was certainly earned this year. Mercer had a solid first season in the SoCon. I expected a lot more game like the Bears visit to Spartanburg. To their credit, they played a lot closer with the SoCon teams than many expected. Next season will be another chance for a step forward. Non-conference schedule will likely be more challenging, and conference foes will have another season of film and scouting.
