The Mercer football program and head coach Bobby Lamb will host the second annual Mercer Football Golf Tournament on Friday, April 17 at Healy Point Country Club.
The event will feature a four-person scramble format and kicks-off at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start. On-site registration will begin at 11:30 a.m.
Entry includes one round of golf, a boxed lunch, a tee gift and a door prize ticket. The tournament will also have several on-course games throughout the day, including a putting contest and awards for longest drive and closest to the pin.
Healy Point, located in Macon, is a golf tradition that has been pleasing members and guests since 1972. Designed by Gary Player, the course is an equal balance of both challenge and beauty. Healy Point features 18 holes of championship golf with five sets of tees to accommodate golfers of all skill levels.
Mercer football also offers several sponsorship opportunities for the tournament with levels at $100, $500 and $1,000.
