Furman ranked in the Top 25! Wow! It is impressive what Boby Richey has done. He is an energetic guy and really seems to love coaching. Furman is 11-0 at this point. I think they've won 16 consecutive in the regular season dating back to last year. |

Yay!...making moves...SoCon 5th place within reach, 6th maybe more likely...close out with an expected road win @ VMI, then upset UNCG @ home, while the Spartans already have the postseason on their minds...finish on 4 game SoCon win streak & make some noise in SoCon Tourney...probably matchup with ETSU in 1st round, who the Bears took to OT earlier in the season. |

JMU fans are always good for wild speculation. Latest is that W&M is seriously considering leaving the CAA for the Patriot League. They further speculate that, if that were to happen, JMU and Elon might seek SoCon membership.
Elon isn't good at sports, but another good private academic would be good for the conference. JMU would be a great add for football and academics.
