JMU fans are always good for wild speculation. Latest is that W&M is seriously considering leaving the CAA for the Patriot League. They further speculate that, if that were to happen, JMU and Elon might seek SoCon membership. Elon isn't good at sports, but another good private academic would be good for the conference. JMU would be a great add for football and academics. A BIG “NO, um...’thank’ you” to the E*Loan Formerly Fightin’ Former Christians re-joining the SoCon. Let those carpetbaggers join the Northeast Conference so they can be geographically aligned with where they fantasize their school is located. |

They are few and far between, but I totally agree about Eloan. |
