In most cases my answer to that question would be a long, convoluted tale that would start with, "Well. See. What had happened was..." but in this case, I have no idea. I read the recent article written by former FU O-Lineman, Corey Stewart, about the Seinfeld SoCon on the SP site and I really enjoyed it. I tried to comment on the article in the comments section below it to praise Corey's work and the site said I needed to LogIn or Register to Comment. So, I registered and then I received that message the following day. End of (SAD) story.

Southern Pigskin's SoCon Primer: Week 1You know...maybe I should have 'Registered' to be a Fact-Checker/Editor for their site instead of a Member... Mercer at Austin Peay Governors Stadium Clarksville, TN 4:00 SOCONDN (Game is at 4:00 PM Central/5:00 PM Eastern and is not on the SOCONDN. It is on the OVC Network)This is the first meeting between the two schools (second). Mercer coach Bobby Lamb begins his 32nd season as either a player, assistant coach or head coach in the SoCon with all 24 starters returning (All? 24? I guess they are counting PK & P or they think the SoCon is a Canadian-Rule League - Anyway, the Bears lost 2 Starters on Offense (Posey & Palmer)) from the Bears inaugural 6-6 season in the SoCon. Although the Bears won just one conference game in 2014 they were competitive in their 6 losses (5 of 6 - Woffy treated the Bears like a chew toy) losing by a margin of 9.8 points per game. SoCon preseason 1st team running back Alex Lakes returns after leading the league in rushing last season with 1,107 yards and 17 touchdowns. Junior Quarterback John Russ led a very balanced Bear offense in 2014 averaging 203 yards on the ground and 197 yard through the air. The Bear defense looks to be opportunistic again in 2015 after leading the SoCon in turnover margin with a +7 in 2014. Austin Peay has been picked to finish 9th in the Ohio Valley Conference after a 1-11 season in 2014. Prediction: Mercer 35 Austin Peay 21 (Hope they got THIS right!)...Just bustin' on em for fun. They do really good stuff and I'm always happy to see any media devote some coverage to the SoCon! Still butt-hurt though... Just saw that Robbie Ross wrote this. He's a former FU guy...and he's gonna be MAD at me....Sorry Robbie, but how does that saying go about 'messing with the Bear?'
