bears go for it on 4th and 5. must not have confidence in kicking game 1st Q-4th & 5 @ Woffard 32! 3rd Q-4th &2 @ Woffard 28! Turned over on downs. Confidence can not be built w/o opportunity! "Football is like life, to have to tackle your problems, block your fears, & score points when you get the opportunity"-Lewis Grizzard So, are you saying we should have attempted FGs in these spots? A 49 and a 45 yarder? If that is what you are saying I have another question: Have you been watching all year?

Great questions. Yes to all. 49/45 are possible. I prefer likely to possible. It's possible I put on pants today. But not likely.

In a game that a 27 yarder was possible but not likely I don't see how you could have confidence beyond 45...

I agree also ,where was the td pass at the end of regulation? our defense we know but our offense and play calling is very suspect, #7 gets in a flow and we call timeouts at wrong times, big plays on D and don't comeback on O and try to make TD plays, put teams away, etc, worried we are becoming a program that has the "will" to win but don't "how" to win. honeymoon is over and if don't fix this we are going to be the "Georgia" of the SOCON. I was at the game and it was a lot of fun..bad endind for sure and heartbreaking to lose that way. I agree with you. MU had enough opportunities and should of won this game. You could see the size difference in the line, Wofford had he bigger guys up front and wore down MU. Didn't seem like the D made the adjustments it needed to to shut down or at least be more aggressive in the middle of that line. I believe MU top linebacker was out but still need to make adjustments . Wofford did nothing different all game but run up the middle. I can't even recall MU blitzing? MU offense was moving along in the hurry up and should of been more aggressive early on. Offense rarely worked the middle of the field and instead kept throwing those wide outs that took way too much time to develope. #7 has a good arm and down the middle was open. Tight end was open a lot but neve got a look. Learning how to win is a mind set and I sure hope the coaching staff here figures it out soon...don't want that stigma hanging around this program.

Jagger is the reason ya'll were in the game at the end. no reason to rail on the kid like some on twitter are doing right now. Great kid. Fun game to attend in spite of the weather. Stayed to the end and really enjoyed it. It is a shame either team had to lose. I agree with you about Jagger--the one kick did not lose the game. There were many missed opportunities to change the game earlier on, even in the last series of regualtion. Overall though I will say that I was really surprised at the poor level of special teams play on both sides. Blocked kicks, missed FGs and XPs, and was especially surprised at how poor the punting was from Wofford. Something like a 25 yd average if I remember ?
