I saw for the first time a press conference for Coach Lamb and players after the Chat game. Being new to MU why isnt this a normal occurence? I got the feed from Twitter from the local paper who hedl the presser yet no one from MU was there to report it? I am surprised that it is not something that is mandatory after each game and put on the MU Web site. Great way to connect to the fan base.

They may have one but I dont think it covered by MU media at the presser as it is not on the web site. That is hard to understand...

They have them with players as well as Coach Lamb. The media with passes that allow them to go into the room can come but choose not to go. None of us work for the MU media site. Hayes is a staff writer at the cluster. I'm the sports editor at the cluster. Daniel is The Telegraph's sports editor. Hayes and Daniel video them. I record audio for quotes in my articles. |

So these press conferences after games with the MU back drop wont get on the www.mercerbears.com site? Thats the site fans, recruits etc look at, why would MU now be present or get them up on the site? If MU isnt doing this then what the reason. Social Media, Web Sites are so important today, no excuse for MU not to have these up on the site the day after..or in many cases same day. |

Again none of us work for that site. I have no clue why they don't do it. I'm not sure who is in charge of that. I know The Telegraph and Cluster either use it or post the press conference for both coach and players. I really can't give you an answer I'm sorry

Telegraph is the local newspaper and Daniel runs their stuff, along with Hayes and I double dipping for both the Telegraph and the Cluster. I do agree that it is very weird that only us 3 show up to these and i think last year only Daniel went to them. I mean obviously I want the site views for the Telegraph or the Cluster but I do not get why MU doesn't send someone to at least record it. |
