Mercer adds Wake Forest transfer for 2016-17 season

Mercer signed Madison Jones, a 6'1" Guard from Wake Forest.  He'll have 1 year with the Bears and adds nice depth to next years team.  He started all 32 games as a Junior in the 2014-15 year.  He was dismissed from the team for a "violation of athletic department policy", which sounds vague to say the least.  Wake has a new coach and is going through a lot of turnover, so I'd imagine that had something to do with it as well.  Whatever the issue was, it didn't sound large.  Jones had nearly 100 assists as a junior, and led the team in steals with 34.
