I'm seeing reports that Vanderbilt QB Johnny McCrary is transferring to Mercer. He will graduate from Vanderbilt this spring. He is a redshirt sophomore and has two years eligibility remaining. 6-4, 220lb. Started 7 games for Vandy this past season. Played high school ball at Cedar Grove. High school passing stats a fairly nutty 567 of 831 (68.2%) for 9,025 yards and 78 TDs. His dad was an NFL TE. www.vucommodores.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/johnny_mccrary_844298.html247sports.com/player/johnny-mccrary-7556This is a rather interesting development. I'm now very curious how this all looks next year considering we have a 3 year starter returning at QB. Also, the next couple of years with incoming recruit Kaelan Riley. However, competition is always a good thing. Either way, seems like a pretty big get for the Bears.

4 Star & #10 Ranked Dual Threat QB in US (Rivals) coming out of HS.
At least 1 regular MUBDer should be elated!
