We've established that Mercer is reliant on hitting this year. Scoring about 8 runs a game and giving up about 6.5 a game. It's hard to say if that formula can win a SoCon tournament. The ERA in the 6.50 range is near the bottom of the nation. The hitting on the other hand (and plate discipline with the national lead in walks) is near the top.
