Hey, everybody. New to the forums here. For the second year in a row, I'm putting together a team - named the "Sun Squad" - of former hoops players from the Atlantic Sun to compete in The Basketball Tournament (TBT). Basically, TBT is a 5 on 5 basketball tournament over the summer that is open to anyone (excluding prospective/current collegiate players). It's in its third year of existence and the prize is $2 million this year. The tournament is on ESPN2/ESPN.
Our roster includes Mercer alumni Langston Hall, Anthony White Jr, Travis Smith, Darious Moten, & Daniel Coursey. Our team page can be found here: www.thetournament.com/teams/sun-squad
The format is exactly like March Madness, 64 teams play in 4 regions. Charlotte, LA, Philly and Chicago. Our team has applied to play in the Charlotte (South) regional, however to gain entry we must be voted in by fans. If you want to see these former Bears teaming up on the court again, please take a minute to vote for the "Sun Squad" and help us get into the tournament. Fans are also taking home $200,000 of the prize of this year so you could also win some money by supporting these Mercer alums.
Voting Instructions

2. Fill out the registration information and click 'Create New Account'
3. Check for a verification email (including your Spam/Promotions folder) and click the link inside that reads 'Verify'. You’ve now officially voted!
