Bears take care of business in their first round game at the SoCon championships. Beat The Citadel 13-1. Pounded out 15 hits and SIX homers. On to the next one.

Bears and Paladins meeting up.
Mercer's the #1 seed. Furman has won 13 of their last 17. Paladins played Mercer tight during the series in Macon earlier this year. Furman essentially playing a home game. Should be a good one.

Mercer up 5-1 in the bottom of the 8th against the Furples in game #2. Freshman Kevin Coulter is absolutely dealing. One run given up over 8 innings pitched.

9-8 win over WCU!!! What an awesome game that was! A gutsy performance by all Bears involved. Didn't lead till the 9th inning... Overcame deficits of 4-0 and 7-3! Go Bears!!

Mercer could only score 2 runs and loses to WCU in the first game of championship Sunday.. One game left for all the marbles. Coach held back Askew from Game 1 to use in this potential Game 2.
