So...I did a bit of analysis on the Southern Pigskin list and broke his rankings down by position group...seems like there oughta be more WR's in this list...and more DLmen.

I wouldn't say there are ANY that are, necessarily, better. For the most part, this is a good list...

...but there are others, not on here, who are very good. Cam Jackson from El Cid and K'rondis Larry from Samford come to my mind. Just a lot of very good RB's in the SoCon.

AND...

Yes - his injuries last year hurt his 'stature' as a SoCon RB. With Mercer still being considered a SoCon newcomer, unless the stats are clearly superior and/or a full-scale marketing program is executed for a Mercer player in a less stat-driven position (OL, for example), and/or Mercer wins the SoCon, the Mercer players just are not going to be recognized as readily as those from programs with which the media is more familiar.

If Alex stays relatively injury-free this year, he will have the stats he had in 2014 and will, once again, be recognized appropriately.
