I do not think it would surprise me to see UTC, ETSU, Furman, Wofford, Mercer, or UNCG as king of the mountain by March. Probably as deep a basketball conference as we've had in quite some time. No team is probably as good as Davidson has been at times (though Steph Curry helped), but a pretty tough league top to bottom. |

The Mercer roster is as deep as I've seen since the 2013-14 championship squad. Awesome looking talent and I'm super excited. It's hard to predict the starting lineup. I'd guess:
PG Strawberry
SG Holland or Rivers
F Jelks
PF Ringer
C N'Ganga
That's my guess at it. PLENTY of capable players that could start or be critical off the bench. Sometimes players off the bench have better numbers than starters. Big things are possible out of this bunch.

I think we could also see this: Strawberry Holland Rivers Jelks N'Ganga Rivers is a Guard but he's 6'8''. He's kind of a matchup nightmare. So this is a 3 "guard" set, but would be interesting with Rivers and Holland on the floor. |
