UTC's leading scorers are McLean (best 3 pt shooter) and Tuoyo (best shooter in SoCon). Jones is a good shooter as well.
The bench get a lot of minutes.
UTC plays aggressive with 8.6 steals per game and 5.5 blocks per game. Tuoyo is 2nd in the nation in blocked shots.

Chatty has lost two in a row. First to ETSU in the Round House and then to SU in the suburbs of Birmingham.
But I don't see the Bears beating them this weekend.

...and DOWN GOES SAMFORD! (Thanks Bellhops 💁🏾!) So, I believe, if the Bears 🐻 beat SAM. on Monday night in Hawkins Arena, they clinch the #6 Seed, which, I believe means they don't have to play on Day 1 of the SoCon Tournament & will play the #3 seed on Day 2. I'm not sure who that is or will be, but a quick glance at the current standings seems to indicate it could be UNCG or ETSU. I bet Coach Hoffman & the Players would appreciate a YUUUUGE, vocal, and hostile crowd on Monday. |

Hopefully Cummings can do what he did against Wofford. When does Holland return?

Solid win over the Mocs. Ringer had a very good night. Mocs obviously scouted Cummings because his defender played him close to try to prevent the 3.

That was an exciting OT game. Nice senior night for Ross Cummings. I will miss watching him play next year.

That was an exciting OT game. Nice senior night for Ross Cummings. I will miss watching him play next year. Tournament should be interesting. Any Team could lose to any other Team. Furman, UNG, and Woffy have a slight edge over the other 6 (not 7...Samford seems to have pulled up their tent stakes)...but it’s really very slight. HATE to say it, but SoCon Officiating could be the primary difference in many of the SoCon Tournament games. |
