Mercer is @ Georgia Tech tonight and then has a 3 game series with Citadel. Citadel may have a terrible RIP in the mid 200's, but their Friday ace is JP Sears (57 innings, 87 K's, 1.74 ERA). Nasty numbers.
So far tonight MU is trailing Tech, 7-2 in the 3rd inning. A combination of Mercer using the end of their bullpen against a quality club and this is the result.

Going to the bottom of the 6th in Atlanta, Mercer trails Tech 8-5. As the night has gone on it has become darker and darker on this field. Does Tech plan on turning the lights on or naw? My eyes hurt trying to watch it's so dark.

Going to the 9th Mercer has Truitt, Hagan, and Hanson due up. Georgia Tech leaning on the 7 runs they got off Knies and Burks over the first 1.2 innings of the game. Mercer trails 8-5 still.

Of the remaining games on the schedule, this next game against Citadel's ace and the Florida State game are easily the toughest.
