Does anyone have any information on the 2015 Recruiting class? We have about 6 weeks to go before signing begins. The list below if from PerfectGame which is dependent on players indicating their non-binding commitment. It remains to be seen exactly how Cox will pitch against D1 talent, but I know you won't find a more competitive kid out there on the diamond. I coached against him in 8 years of little league and he is a complete team player that will do whatever it takes. I would say he's a better first baseman as he has a great glove, but his speed is probably what would keep him out of the lineup everyday which is why I'm sure they are looking at him at pitching. Haven't watched him much the last two years, but he was throwing in the mid 80's as a JV player. Nice mix of pitches, not going to overpower you. He will be a good pickup for Mercer.

Cox ended up with a very solid season at FPD, and has really improved his velocity to where he is consistently hitting upper 80's, topping out around 91. Going to be a good player for the Bears. When his signing was reported he was around 185 lbs, he is now 200+ and it's muscle.
