Furman 23 - Wofford 24 - Game of the Week. Furman attempts a 2 point conversion to win it in regulation and fails. Bold move in the opening game of the Clay Hendrix era.
Chatt 13 - JaxState 27 - Chatt offense without their starting QB didn't look so good.
Samford 28 - Kennesaw State 23 - KSU ran over them like a freight train in the first half. Then there was a 3 1/2 hour weather delay and Samford came out looking like a completely different team in the 2nd half to grab the victory.
VMI 0 - Air Force 62 - Worse than the big loss, the VMI QB Austin Coulling was taken of the field on a board with a cart after an ugly hit early in the 2Q. I'm not a doctor, but it didn't look like a concussion. Looked more like neck or maybe a broken collarbone. Taking over for Coulling was Duncan Hodges, the little brother of Samford QB Devlin Hodges.
The Citadel 31 - Newberry 14 - Didn't see this one, but this seems closer than it should have been considering the Bellhops rushed for 374 yards. lol
ETSU 31 - Limestone 10 - ETSU beats a sedimentary rock by 21 in their new stadium.
Hawaii 41 - WCU 18 - I didn't see it, but based on the numbers, looks like this was the WCU QB Tyrie Adams Show. Threw 40 passes for 270 yards and rushed 23 times for 107 yards. Most surprising to me is Detrez Newsome, who I think is one of the most explosive players in the conference, only accumulated 27 yards on 14 carries. Yuck.
