5 new starters gotta prove themselves. Coach says they are an extremely athletic bunch. Let's hope their chemistry gels in a hurry.

I saw Mercer as far down as sixth in several preseason publications.
I think Mercer is very good. But with a bunch of new starters the Bears will need to come together fast. Of course, nothing matters until January, really. Plenty of time to come together.

I'm find with being underrated, but in my opinion- and several others that are close to the program- we are more athletic than ever and Hoffman's biggest strength is bringing teams together. Those two factors plus our ridiculously tough non conference schedule should leave us in prime position once tournament play begins. |
