Welp it’s pretty clear who Cronic’s QB is... I think “Cronic’s QB” is either the one who is ineligible for the Spring because he played 10 FBS games in the Fall of 2020 OR the one who’s still trying to recover from a devastating lower limb injury incurred in the Fall of 2019. That said, you gotta play with the ones that which is suited up. #15 seems to have a bit more escapability & throw-it-the-heck-away-ability than #18 both of which were sorely needed way too often today. Gotta clean up PassPro & gotta get more target-able Retrievers in the reachable zones on BootFlood - more ‘flood’ & more time to find the flooders and/or more time for QB to square shoulders/hips to be able to slang it to the backside Retrievers. Cutting down the splits on the b/s WR’s and/or shortening the stems of the routes might’ve helped some today...but with a Defender running-free & in his face before he even finishes his turn on the boot, DeShaun Watson or Patrick Mahomes wouldn’t have measurably better than 11 for 24 today. This is spot on! No time to throw never helps. Little bit of scheme change on the routes would help free them up too. It’s still a work in progress and have to get his guys in to be more effective.

I was a bit surprised at the final scoreline. With the limited amount I watched and looking at the box score, Wofford did not seem to have a significant advantage that showed up in the final line.
Cronic is a good coach and will get the ship headed in the right direction. He has a good track record of getting things up to speed quickly using personnel available to him.
