They don’t talk about Football until 23:00 into the hour-long show. They talk, reluctantly, about getting whipped by winless WCU last week. Then, at about 30:00, they talk about firing the Head Football Coach.

The bellhops’ beat writer says CIT has a 50/50 shot at beating Mercer because CIT beat VMI.

He also says CIT’s O has become too easy to defend. WCU used a “Snakeye” Linebacker scheme to shut them down. Basically, take a Safety out of formation & position a FAST LB about 7 yards deep over the Center. That makes him difficult to get to by the CIT OLmen. At the snap, this guy is a “Spy” on the QB - goes the direction the QB goes & that is his assignment (tackle the QB) on the triple option. Bobby Johnson used this to shut down the bellhops & ratdogs (Wofford) when he was at Furman.

Beat writer also says CIT’s starting QB (who is a very good & tough runner - now exp’d) & their All SoCon / SoCon DPOY LB are questionable for Sat. Neither finished the game vs. WCU.
