Good start to the game. Three and out on D and the offense looked pretty good. Run heavy (no surprise). A monster Al Wooten run I've come to expect where he carries 3 or 4 defenders an extra 6 or 7 yards after contact. A couple of nice passes. Devron TD on a reverse. Also, the hurry-hurry offense which I like to have in our bag if we need it.

I love that FCS has replay, but it's so hard with 1 maybe 2 camera angles to look at. Devron just picked up a catch that was initially ruled out of bounds, but based on what I say, it's hard to know how they changed the call on the field. Same thing happened last week on a Ty James play, but went the other way.

As good as the first two series were, the 3rd series on offense goes hold on a great run where Brandon Marshall looks like he might have hurt his knee, Payton gets sacked, and we have a bad QB-RB hand off and the Bears fumble. Wofford ball deep in Bear territory. Ugh.

Another fumble. Gracious, that's 2 in basically 15 minutes. Can't win conference titles coughing up the ball like this. Man. Frustrating.

Welp, the fast start has ground to a halt. 3 and out. We need to put a little bit of a drive together and give our D a break. Last two series were a quick fumble and then a 3 and out. Yuk.

Aaaaaaand, we turn around and give up a 70 yard kick return. As I said earlier, not a lot to pick at, but kick coverage has been an area that needs improvement all year.

I hate this for our defense. They played their tails off all day and they have been put in some really bad spots. Dealing with two bad fumbles in their own territory and now trying to defend after bad kick coverage. There goes the shut out after a having to defend a real short field. 35-7 Bears.
