We are currently leading the FCS in Fumbles lost. This seems to be our biggest weakness.
Hopefully it's a point of emphasis going forward.

We are currently leading the FCS in Fumbles lost. This seems to be our biggest weakness. Hopefully it's a point of emphasis going forward. Ursus speaks the truth…and there is another interesting statistic for the upcoming game vs. Furman… FUMBLES LOSTLast updated November 1, 2022 - Through games October 29, 2022 RANK TEAM G FUM LOST123 Mercer 9 12 118 Furman 9 11 Furman is tied for next to last, having lost 1 less fumble than the Bears. This is really, really odd. These 2 Teams are leading the SoCon in many stats and ranked highly in all of FCS. Neither of them run what would have once been called “high-risk” offenses - veer or wishbone offenses with tons of QB/FB meshes and option pitches at high speed on the perimeter. …AND…. Here’s another interesting stat… PASSES INTERCEPTEDLast updated November 1, 2022 - Through games October 29, 2022 RANK TEAM G OPP PASS OPP INT INT RET YDS INT RET TDS1 Mercer 9 284 17 204 2 2 Furman 9 336 14 225 2 So…the 2 FCS Teams that lead the country in losing the ball on the ground also lead in taking it away thru the air. Just odd. FUBeAR cain’t ‘splain it, but he is willing to bet that the Team that wins the turnover battle will win the game on 11/12.

Wow once again amazing, FUBeAR. I’ve honestly wondered how much time you spend on FCS research and analysis. It is appreciated though, very much, both here and at AGS.
