Can't wait to see the new QB, receivers and DBs.
Looks like we've got new helmets with the sailor bear, which is also cool

I like the throwback look, but had no problem with the old ones. I hear they may only wear the new ones for the first game, but we'll see
From the press conference today, DJ Smith (#1) will start at QB, and Coach Jacobs expects to 4 running backs to get touches against Presbyterian. I think the four are Tyrell Choard (#25), Micah Bell (#27), CJ Miller (#22), and Dwayne McGee (#3, from LR)

A bit late watching the game, but we looked great on both sides of the ball. DJ looks like the real deal and the helmets look slick. Anybody know if we're wearing them again vs BC?

The Bears are 2-0 and have key matchup with Chattanooga - a matchup of two top 25 teams - this weekend and there is no talk of the game? As of right now the rain looks to be out of town by kickoff and it ought to be a great game as contests between our two schools seem to be. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be in attendance as my daughter is playing travel basketball and currently has a game at 6:00pm on Saturday.

NC State looked just as bad against Tennessee as Chatt did, and Chatt gave Georgia State a good game. But Mercer was dominant both ways against a couple bad FCS teams. Not sure how to compare the teams, but Gary Reasons did pick Mercer on FCS Delivered. Can't wait to watch

And watching all the other games. Better get ready week in and week out in the SoCon. Every conference game is gonna be a dog fight.

The Chat game was intense! The defense was just stifling! If the Bears can keep their focus, they might get on a roll. Certainly the SoCon is gonna be a tough sled.
