This is what Mercer fans have been waiting for since the restart of football; A late fall game with post season implications and the regular season championship on the line.
I am sure ETSU will be favored. They are ranked and it is home.
Who is going? Plenty of good tickets are available.

I just got front row center seats Gold tickets (Section T/1), so apparently there are plenty good tickets available.

Yes, to KSU in the future, but I would like to see W&M, Richmond and Elon on the schedule.

To state the obvious, this is a must win game. The Bears are either contenders or pretenders. Next two games will decide which.

Preseason Top 25 Arkansas in Fayetteville on SEC Network is the only OOC game I don't think the Bears will have a chance. SLU will be a tough road game too. Otherwise, it is mostly a mid-major OOC schedule.
What is a Home Life University? Sounds like a college for homeschoolers. MU should not be playing that game. Alos, why DII Milligan? Again, shouldn't be playing this game.
Should be trying to schedule home and home games with CAA programs like W&M, CofC and Elon.

Any chance that Stetson or Jacksonville might make a move to the SoCon? A presence in FL wouldn’t be a bad thing. I hope not

No question that the SoCon is moving up as other conference (USA and CAA) have dropped. And that is one reason I think the SoCon would be appealing to some of the CAA schools now. But I highly doubt Richmond or Davidson would leave the A-10 for the SoCon for all sports.
Other than the Warren Nolan RPI ranking, I couldn't find any other 2020-21 ranking where the SoCon was ranked higher than the A-10. Granted, the A-10 has some bad teams, but their good teams are generally much better than the SoCon's best teams. Two years ago, Dayton was ranked #4 before the tournament was cancelled. Last year, two A-10 teams were in the tournament with three more on the bubble. They have averaged three teams over the last seven years.

A lot of speculation that JMU is leaving the CAA for the CUSA or SBC. What will be the impact on the CAA? Will they look to add? Would any SoCon schools be interested in moving to the CAA? Would any CAA teams look to move to the SoCon?
I would love to have W&M and Elon for all sports and Richmond for football. Maybe CoC and UNCW for all sports (no football).
Would ETSU or UTC have any interest in moving to the CAA? Not likely now that JMU is gone.

It looks like Belmont is leaving the OVC to join the MVC.
I had hoped the Bruins would be invited to join the SoCon, but MVC is a good move for them. Maybe Wichita State goes back now that the AAC is no longer the conference they joined.
I had no idea Austin Peay and Jacksonville State were in the OVC, but they are leaving too.
Any ramifications for the SoCon? Would UTC or ETSU look to move? I doubt it, but maybe they would see that as appealing for the instate opponents. Obviously, SoCon is better than OVC.

Furman's Noah Gurley has transferred to Alabama
At 6-8 and with a proven 3-point shot, Gurley should be able to play multiple positions for the Crimson Tide and help provide the floor spacing that is critical to success in Alabama's 3-point heavy system. After redshirting his first year at Furman, he'll be a fifth-year junior who brings veteran production.
