 Drawing of science building back side. I don't get the elevation change of the lot. It was a flat piece of land. I still don't like this design. It looks like a hotel. Also, the brown metal roof looks so '80s.

I just drove into campus via MU drive. Stadium lights on, bridge lit up, Lofts lit up. Pretty danged impressive.

A home owner (but only a part time resident) tries to a get a payday from the University and the developer to the tune of $1M for her lot with an appraised value of less than $50k. They say, "screw you" and build around her like the highway department had to do when Bugs Bunny refused to sell. It is unfortunate that the Lofts at Mercer Landing II won't be as nice as it could have been due to this woman's actions. I would understand it if she has owned the property for a long time and actually lived in the house year round. To not accept twice the property value is simply greedy. But it is her right to do it.
