Rivers + Brown are 0/8 with 3 turnovers. This 2nd half is easily the worst half of ball that Mercer has played all year.

A 44-33 LEAD was turned into a 48-60 deficit.

I can't believe we are about to lose this game. I think for the first time all season the team unraveled. Can blame the hangover from the OT game. Or the long trip with snow delays. but this is the worst I've seen Mercer look for a very long time (which shows how consistent they've been, and how spoiled we've been). Hopefully can go back home and regroup. |

It's gonna be a loss in 2OT. Brutal loss. Reverting back to previous posts, gotta go home and regroup. Turnovers were the story. A couple that were completely unforced at critical times.
Rivers going 0/7 was tough. It wasn't his night. Also Ringer only getting 4 shots in a 50 minute game.

All Mercer can do now is go home and work on the issues. I have full faith in that happening. Go pick internet arguments with someone else. |

Back to reality, Mercer (or Chatty or any SoCon team) is not so much better than another SoCon team that any game is a sure thing. Davidson we are not. Yet.
The regular season in a one-bid conference is for conference tournament seeding only. And the path of first or second or third isn't that much different.
