Looks like in true "doing it right" fashion, Mercer will be bussing students up to Atlanta for the Georgia Tech game. Sounds like 20 bucks gets you a game ticket, the bus ride, food and a t-shirt. Love the fact that students and the Mercer Maniacs will be making the trip. Georgia Tech - Mercer ticket prices are going down as well. I paid $44.25 per ticket through Mercer and now the same section is going for $15-$20.

Some Mercer seats like mine are north end zone behind the Tech band. Others are on the opposite 10 yard line. I guess Tech feels like they have to divide and conquer the mighty Bears' fans.

Maybe we just bought more than anticipated and Section 130 filled up, so they started pulling from other sections.

Maybe we just bought more than anticipated and Section 130 filled up, so they started pulling from other sections. So do those of us who paid $44.25 per ticket for $20 end zone seats get refunds? Normally this wouldn't be a big deal, but I bought 10 tickets. |

Its' gonna be a great game, I think we can win it, everyone has figured out how defend against their option offense.

Well, I think people know HOW to defend the option, but the trick is being disciplined and executing. And also being able to win your matchups and be gap sound. We shall see. I am also very confident our guys will come out excited, ready and BELIEVING they can win. And that's more than half the battle. And, to your point, the Tech fans do have some bluster this week since it's little 'ole Mercer on the schedule. I've been over on one of their message boards this week giving some friendly banter and they pretty clearly don't believe the Bears have a snowballs chance in Valdosta of even being in the game let alone winning. Interesting that they don't have that same kind of tone and swagger 'round Thanksgiving weekend.  |

GT should know better. They've struggled with FCS teams before. Gardner Webb put a jolt in them a couple of years ago.
