Coach Cronic seem to hint as much when he said that one more coach from LR might join him depending on what takes place at LR. Looks to be a good fit if it actually happens. Are you dare intimating that FUBeAR’s powers of prescience are anything less than amazingly remarkable?

To be truthful, I have no idea. Just saw it on Twitter. I’ve tried but it’s really not a public thing. If I find out I’ll tell you.

You can't access the portal, unless you have an NCAA login. Most of the time when I know someone is in the portal, it's because they tweeted about it. I have a few alerts set up for football related things.

Sorta like getting a commit from a player. L-R Defensive Coordinator and former defensive coach from The Citadel joining the coaching staff. Looks like another addition to the Coaching Staff has emerged. Guessing he’ll be on the D side of the ball... SUMNER ELLIS - Assistant Coach/Linebackers @ Presbyterian CollegeNOTE: Maybe we should move these to the signing class thread or start a New Staff thread...yes?

I presume this is an offer: Over the years of following recruiting on twitter, our less-than-scientific approach is this: 1. If a kid is offered a scholarship and posts it, he'll usually get a retweet from the coaches. 2. If a kid is a PWO and posts it, it'll get some likes from the coaches. 3. If a kid is offered and publicly committed, you'll get a retweet. 4. If a kid is offered and not publicly committed, you'll get the coaches saying something like like "BOOM! Baller from the Peach State" or "Lockdown Corner from the 478!" Whatever that means. Will still happen if player publicly commits. 5. If a kid "has an opportunity to further my career/education at __," that usually seems to be a PWO.

Not to be confused with the original “ol’ number 6,” as described in the 1974 Mel Brooks comedy film, Blazing Saddles.

6-1 / 270 Center from AL with an offer. Other D1 offer from Navy. Cade Gothard - Sr Season Highlights - FUBeAR APPROVEDAthletic, agile, quick OLman who can run & plays nasty, but is altitudinally-challenged. Those measurables / characteristics only work for small-time Teams...y’know, like the New England Patriots ( NE Pats Starting RG). FUBeAR is ELATED to see Mercer offer this type of OLman. Unless, I’m missing someone, in 6 years of SoCon competition, Mercer has only had 4 OLmen earn All SoCon honors. The 1st one was 6-1, the next 2 were 6-2 or 6-3 (in various years) and the 4th one was listed at 6-3, but looks closer to 6-2 (to FUBeAR). Regardless, Mercer has never had an All SoCon OLman taller than 6-3. So, you might say, “But Mercer hasn’t had very many OLmen over 6-3.” But...you would be wrong. Mercer has averaged having about 6 OLmen on the roster over 6-3 every year since 2014, and that number skewed higher as the 2012-2014 Recruiting Classes of mostly shorter OLmen finished up. Yet, none of those over 6-3 (I think the total is about 34 - counting each one ‘roster-year’ as a separate ‘person’) has ever made All SoCon. Just sayin’... Aptitude+Attitude > Altitude
